Hello all,
I just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself to the residency. I started playing in 1999 I believe, but I have been away from the sim for seven years. I was so glad to see the upgrades and how drastically the sim has changed for the better. I wrote race previews for the bugler and actually created 'win' pictures for anyone that wanted one. I have won a Breeders Bowl race and participated in the Equinics.
I live in Ohio, and I train Standardbreds for a living. So... if anyone would like to get into standardbred racing as an owner let me know! (shameless plug...)
Thanks, Rencapone
ps. Bear with me all of my horses are between the ages of 9-15. On the bright side I have some really nice well-bred mares to get the babies started!

Welcome to ASR mate.
Good to see that you have made it back to the sim after all those years away. As you said there has been many changes made, imho they have made it better and more interesting.
Your stables have already been added to stables page. Take your time and look around our site there are a few stats pages to look at, they are updated every monday.
There are also 3 weekly contests on the MB every week.
Tom

Welcome Rencapone
your sim story sounds a lot like mine as I started in 1998 and for years was off and on, been playing study for last 5 years.
ASR is a great group of players and for my money the best the sim has to offer.
If I can help you in anyway let me know

Glad you made it over Ren! Sim has changed for the better over the years and is continuing to evolve. Take a look around, happy to answer any questions you may come across. Tom and I sent you a couple of horses to get you started. Good racing luck!

Welcome Rencapone! I also started playing this game in early 1999. I've taken a few long breaks over the years. ASR is the best residency around - everyone is very friendly and the owners run some great horses. Best of luck getting going again.

Rencapone, Just in case you havent noticed yet at the top of the messageboard there is a link for the ASR Race Calendar. There is a 2yo race on both surfaces at the start of each month plus numerous other races throughout the year, you are welcome to start entering horses in these races. Tom
