Hi ASR peeps,
How are you all?
I think I have a promising horse on my hands in the form of Think Quick Fin. She has performed admirably at stakes level. Where would you place her next. HELP in case I stuff her up lol. Your help much appreciated.

Hey Finlay,
Think I mentioned to you early on after her debut effort that she might be a handy type.
You are tracking nicely with her and just think you need to wait to get out to the 9.5 - 10 furlong events.
I do tend to be a bit more conservative than your average simmer, but think your filly will hold her own in graded events and I would be looking for a graded event between 9 and 10 furlongs next time out.
Just my opinion, all the best with her.

Hi Finlay,
Pretty much agree with what rharfo is saying that she needs more ground but you wont find a race for her at that distance until next year. In about six weeks I'd try her at the longest stakes race you can find probably 8.5f.

Quick question along the same lines as Fin's: are there no 2yo races past 8.5f or will they eventually lengthen through the rest of the year?

8.5f is the longest 2yo races colt and filly on both turf and dirt. 9f races start on 1st january when they will be 3yo.

Pretty much all my “classic” breeds I will only run once or twice as a 2yo for that reason , pretty much wasting racing them at 2
