Yeah, if you think about it, the larger stable groups would be able to funnel all their (our) bps into one stable and just breed infinitely so there has always been a stop against being able to transfer BPs across stables. One thing i've learnt since coming back to the game is to try and dedicate one or two stable purely for making BPs. Breed 2yos to your mares with cards and enter them in the weakest spots possible, buy maiden 2yos/3yos from the auction and do the same. If they fail, auction them and try and cycle through them constantly. The more ruthless you are the better. You may risk losing a cheap 2yo that comes good, but in the end you will build up BPs quite quickly and you can breed upper echelon sires more regularly.

Of course, you could place a limit on how many BP could be transferred over a period, eg 1000 pa. The reality is that the long established stables will always be able to breed at the top of the tree--they have had the time to establish really strong teams, breed really high quality and turn them into more BP and credits along the journey. So far I've been given some really promising horses--Glenmore War, and Frank Assesment will be nice I hope, and I'm really reluctant to part with them. Lots of people have been very generous with their gifts and I'm very grateful for that--I have to work out with the horses--surface, distance, spaces between races etc, and I think I will get it all together eventually. It's just frustrating atm--I probably won't be able to breed the 2yo I selected in the Keenland Stud giveaway as I don't have the points, unless of course I can get the last runner in the Wonka race, but by then it will be probably to late, and it will probably win the race by lengths. Probably on a bit of a pity party atm--it seems like the big stables will always get bigger, while little guys like me will be stuck trying to pick up the crumbs from under the table.

Yep that’s exactly how it is , unless u spend a heap of money it’s going to take u years and years to get an established team, even then u still won’t be able to keep up with the top teams that have been around for 15+ years as there breeding pool is extensive and runs very deep

Any reason why some stallion shares need BP alone, and can't be acquired by credits?

Any reason why some stallion shares need BP alone, and can't be acquired by credits? They all can be had with credits you can watch and wait till they come up or the easier way is to bid on them. The top sires your going to have to bid more then a thousand credits for and hope you get a win in the lotto But I have found if you want a certain sire bid very high and sooner or later you will get them

How does the bidding for stallion shares work. I have made a bid for a DS stallion, and I see his cost is slowly falling. There are currently 10 bids for him. What happens when the cost meets a bid--I assume he is purchased, but my query is regarding remaining bids--are they still active, or do I need to rebid?

Not sure how the game works out the price it goes back up to , someone else can probably answer that .. If it’s a popular sire it will go back to 1000
